Welcome to Confabulator Wednesday. Please have a seat over at the Cafe, and I’ll be right with you. Feel free to choose any open table you’d like. It’s cold, so I suggest the corner by the fireplace so you’ll be extra comfy.
This week we’re talking about how we set up our scenes, how much description we use, and how we know whether to show or tell. I’m bemoaning my lack of patience for heavy description and slow scenes in my post Start in the Middle, Fill in the Gaps Later. I’ll also share with you how to describe a sunset.
We’re already halfway into the week, so don’t forget to take a look at the posts from my fellow Confabulators earlier, and check back later for more posts coming after mine.
